Fellow Artist.

Thank you I am at a Low in my Life. The 27th of Jun I had a Heart Attack. Your Comments on my work meant so much. You never know when Positive Input is just what the Doctor ordered.

Yes the background is hand dyed. The (redwork) Line embroidery is done and then lifted onto the background. This is the centerpiece of a larger work that I felt could stand alone. I will post a picture of the Other quilt if you like.

Thank you again.

Jangy, glad that everything went ok with you on your heart attack. That must have really been a frightening experience, to say the least! I too would like to see the other quilt. Rose

You are probably one of the lucky ones! Now you can count on a long and happy life! You will never take even one day for granted - take whatever steps you need to so you can avoid whatever caused the attack - and then just relax and enjoy life! As it says in the "Good Book" worrying will not add a moment to your life so don't worry!
All that is easier said than done, but at 88 I've learned that is true - At 84 I was diagnosed with mantle cell lymphoma and took chemo and all that stuff and I'm into full remission and the one thing that helped me (besides faith, prayer and chemo) was the fact that i would not listen to (or read) any gloomy statistics or dire predictions so i didn't "dread" what i was facing - I like keeping my head in the sand, I guess - what I don't know - won't hurt me! It worked for me! Hope this helps you a little bit! I would love to see more quilts!
