Enlightened Sex
Has anyone here gone to any David Deida workshops OR read his books OR listened to his CDs? Also there are other writers considered in the tantra genre that I would be interested in hearing your experiences.
I've studied Taoist sexual practices with Mantak Chia on and off since 1989. It takes a lot of practice, but they do work. I'm a bit too young to say whether you really get the anti-aging benefits of the practices, but I will say that homework is really enjoyable.
I've looked at a lot of the "American Tantra" literature and talked to a lot of people who've taken a lot of classes. Most of what I've seen is (1) treat your partner with respect (2) invest in 'set and setting' - flowers, fabric/drapery, music, incense (3) use your hands to massage their body inside & out.
I'm not that familiar with David Deida's stuff.
