Hi, I've just discovered this group. As you can see by my profile, I am a true southerner. I do have a connection to Canada. My grandfather was Canadian, but he came to Jacksonville, Fla. when he was five. I will enjoy this group.

Hi flarabel3, my son and his family moved to the upstate of S.C. last summer from Orlando. Said the crime rate, schools, etc. were getting to be too much. Now his in-laws are moving upstate too. They are retired and like the area that my son and family are living.
