Thought for the day

"It's not what you look at that matters, it what you see.."
Henry David Thoreau

When I LOOK at this group here I don't see a group of unhealthy people.

I see vibrant, caring, determined people who face many obstacles in life, (whether they be health, financial, emotional or mental), who persevere and fight the good fight.

Who do you see when you look in the mirror? Do you see a shadow of what you used to be, or do you see the glow of what you are now and know that you can be so much more in the future, despite the road blocks in your path.

Don't look at the glass as half empty, but see it as half full.
Positive thoughts create positive actions.
Look and see that sparkly champion looking back at you.

Love this quote NY. I'm not sure if anyone has answered your question but I'll take a shot.

When I look in the mirror I do sometimes see a shadow of who I used to be. I have lots of bookmarks on my computer with Inspirational quotes. I try and frequent them when I first log on to my computer. Mornings are the worst for me. I have to stand in front of my bathroom mirror while I dump all my different meds and take my first doses. By the time I take my shower and read some inspiring quotes I'm usually good to go. I can see the glass half full and get on with my day. I'm thinking of keeping a journal and listing at least a few things I'm grateful for each day. It can be a reminder of what I have rather than focusing on what I don't have.
Well that all sounded like a bit of a ramble but that's how my mind often works in the morning o:}

Thank you for always perfect and motivating thoughts. I so appreciate you being an active and vital part of this Group.

Your quote:

Positive thoughts create positive actions. Too PERFECT~

Thanks all who read this and appreciated it.

Tb, I am glad you can be positive.
Nana, I am glad I helped you this morning. And everyone else I am glad I can make a difference in your day/life.

I am trying to be more positive in my life, too. If I am not, then I would be crying all the time and I am tired of doing that. I don't keep a journal but it might be just what you need.

I am kind of proud of that I wrote,
Positive thoughts create positive actions. Could be a another motto for us.

Sparkle on everyone.

Gosh you guys I feel the same way. we have to keep our eyes on the prize and know that the storm chaser is bigger than the storm regardless of how it presents itself...many times I have to remember to praise God for the pain and the disease...other wise would I have met any of you, or had the abilities that you have all given me with the blessings of the knowledge that was given to each of you on how to proceed with what you were given. Positive is there any way to get around that when you really know that we praise even when we are down? Give up, man had Jesus have done that where would we have been...nope weak as we might see that we are its not so, we have strength that we have not even begun to tap into yet, today was Mariettes true but Marcia and Dawn and Kulp have such sprinkling times and out vacationing buddy Billie and Sharon and sweet Mary takes her share of shining brilliance...
I have to say "thank you Lord" and give him the praise for all you wonderful women of strength in my life on a daily basis and have to send up prayers, that each of you, will be blessed with one less symptom or pain in this day and the results is to see and feel and know that your being loved in such a gentle way from our creator.
let this forth ring in yet another victory that each of you have shared with each other...let another freedom ring..
Blessings and thanks,
sherry
