For those who haven't seen this. I recieved this as a late Birthday gift from my brother, he has spent almost 30 years building and working on the B2 Stealth Bomber and he presented this to me. I have great honor for this flag, it really touched my heart.

Thank you, it brings tears to my eyes every time I read it, I think about the soldier's casket it was drapped over, and my heart goes out to the family, although I will never know who the man was that gave his life for our county. God Bless America.

Without shame I'm writing this through tears. If your post has not been sent to the White House, it should be.

Probably the most considerate and greatest gift you will ever receive...Cherish it as you cherish our great nation and know that these freedoms are brought to you by the blood of our heroes in uniform who have given all for our nation... God bless them all, and God bless you and your family...

Thats cool Goon. The hardest thing I did while in the Army was giving my friends widow the flag from his casket. He was a Navy Seal the day he died I could not go to the pool at noon because of a meeting it damn near killed me when I was callled to the ER to ID him. Peace and bless the troops. Ed

Don you are not the only one sheding tears.. thank you so much Goon for sharing this with us here.. My brother has the flag that was on my Fathers casket when he died in 1952, he fought bravely in WWII. I have no memories of my father although I was five years old at the time of his death.. yet I remember as a child around 10 or 11 sitting on the cold linolium floor in my Mothers bedroom and pulling the flag out of the bottom drawer of her chest of drawers.. I have never shared this with anyone else.. I held the flag that day and talked to my daddy I never knew.. i put it back into her drawer .. it was a moment no one shared .. except me and my Dad.
maybe that is why I am such a patriotic gal..
