Good morning to you! It's really still here this morning,quite and peaceful. The temps will climb once more into the mid ninties by noon. This is the best time of day for reflections and looking ahead. So with that being said I'll have another cup of coffee and learn to be still.

Mornings and early afternoons are best on my porch. Sometimes my peace is ruined by the squirrels as they succeed in reaching the bird feeders. I can't just sit there and let them munch away; I have to hop up and chase them into the bushes. Yes, I know, it's a pointless pursuit. :~)

It's a blessing to have so many friends on the porch. Good thing it's a strong and structurally sound porch so we don't have to worry about it collapsing from the weight of all my wonderful friends. Thanks for joining.

Well since it's not too warm outside here yet, I think I'll join you all in a cup or two of coffee before I switch to something cold and refreshing.
I've got to make a Glazed Lemon Pound cake sometime before 4 today. That's my requirement to attend the 4th of July bash at my friends house. Yall doing anything special today?
