Well, there you have it. Women who are looking only for powerful and wealthy instead of nice and decent, deserve whatever scumbag they end up with. Just as men who are looking only for gorgeous and sexy instead of nice and decent, usually end up with an insane vampire.

I don't think that Ms. Hathaway would have to sleep all alone any more often than she wants to. In no time at all she can find another powerful and wealthy scumbag.

I agree with kpasa...
And, there are usually little or not-so-little hints
as to whom we're actualy dealing with if we can only get
though the movie running in our heads of who we want them to be. Rarely are we blinded by another's behavior but are by our own desires.

Being a con man and being a jerk is two different things but in actuality, is is not the same? When the guy pretends to be what he is not and turns out to be a rat bastard? oops! WAS THAT OUT LOUD?
Anne is an accomplished woman, how could she expect to be happy with anyone who is not at least her equal? She just got coned by the jerk big time for a long time. I love her, she is great and I hope she finds a real accomplished intelligent gent.
