Rainbow, there is tons of work in progress on the 'Photo Center' ... one thing that I am aware of is that when you upload an image file to Eons - there is only *one* file loaded, but you *can see it* in more than one place. I guess, therefore, if you delete that *one image file* from either place that you *see it* it is then gone from Eons entirely. Does that make sense?
If you see the word "Delete" you are deleting the photo from everywhere on Eons. You'll see a warning and you'll have to confirm the action.
If you see the word "Remove," you are only removing it from the context in which you are viewing it. There's no warning in this case.

GEE, I'd sure LOVE to 'see' the word 'delete' in my photos... I've been off for a while, obviously, and when I viewed my profile, the first thing I noticed was no pictures. However, I did notice at the top 'photos'...
omg! there are photos I apparently posted in groups, and have loooooong forgotten about...and am no longer a member of some groups, one in particular I can't even FIND (the group that is) anyways, HOW DO I REMOVE/DELETE/MAKE gone from eons, a photo??????? HELP !!
Thanks GGroeller and Tallbob... I appreciate the clarification and I can see improvements are still in progress. I like the changes so I guess I'd better read some of Tallbob's blogs so I'll know what's going on and what I need to do.

To prevent accidental deletion, the "Delete" link appears only in "All my photos" - and when you view an individual photo from within "All my photos".
If you'd rather remove the photo from groups without deleting it, you can do so from the "group photos" section of your Photo Center. Or you can go to the group, where you should see the "Remove" link below your photos.

I have tried to delete photos from my group, can't delete them. I have tried re-arranging the group photos to no avail. I uploaded some the other day but now isn't working.
I've looked through some of the postings to make sure this was not a duplicate. Forgive me if I've missed something.
