Thankfulness!
I love Thursdays.
It is almost the weekend, the week's work is nearly done and it is a time to prepare for the weekend.
It is the eve of our country's birthday.America will be 232 years old. That is not old, as countries go.Some countries are thousands of years old.
I am not going to get political here, but I do want to remark on a few things.
As a country, we have made some mistakes. Hopefully, we have done more good than harm over the years, but we are still learning as a country how to be.
I have faith in America. i want to believe that all that our founding fathers dreamed of will prove true for all Americans.
God should be the central focus of our country's view into the future. No matter what else we choose, we need to make sure our choices are His will, our votes are in keeping with what is Christ-like.
It may not be "politically correct" (OH how I dislike that attitude!), but we must always remember to whom we belong, and why we belong to Him.
I am thankful I am an American.I can enjoy very special freedoms.We are blessed that way!
God bless America. Help us to return to YOU! Help us to believe what is right, and good, and hopeful in America.And to seek You first.
