Everyone is very quiet including me. I do hope that the quietness is peacefulness. I am having my sad moments and also happy moments. Sad when I think he is not here and happy when I remember the wonderful times Damian and I shared. Do hope you are all doing as best as you can.
I too have noticed not many have been around lately. I hope everyone is okay. I have been busy. My son is coming home for a 2 week visit, and I am busy getting things done around here that I have been putting off for weeks (months). I have to get the bed set up, and some boxes unpacked. I don't want to have to do anything but enjoy his visit,--he wants me to cook often for him, we'll see about the cooking. I haven't seen him in 18 months, I am ready to see my baby son. I hope everyone is doing well.
I have noticed how quiet it is around here too. I personally have been very busy but try to check in daily in case we get a new member or have a message that someone needs some support. I hope that everyone is enjoying the summer and finding some peace. Thinking of all of you!
I was just thinking the other day how quiet our group has become. It gives me mixed emotions. Sad that no one wants to take the time that we all can share with them their grief. But then again, happy that we aren't losing anymore of our children. May this summer be a time of healing to all of us that have lost one of our children.
I log on every day. I wish I could say that I am taking care of stuff and to busy to post but I can't. It seems like no matter how hard I try, it takes me forever to do anything. I am supposed to move in Sept, the movers will be here on the 21st and I have nothing done and am so worried because it will be the first time I am going to be alone across the country, without any family near me.
I think everyone has noticed how quiet it has been. Nothing much is different on my end, except five months after my daughter died her husband is engaged and has moved the women in with her two kids. My grandkids are very upset but it doesn't seem to matter. Enjoy the sunshine. Gail's Mom Margie
Daffidill I read your post about your daughters husband, that hurts, I know it does. I was married for 34 years, had 3 babies with my husband. One we lost as a new born, and then Drew at 16. My ex decided he wanted to be "happy", After all of that, he married someone else 1 week after our divorce was final, that hurt. I decided I could get over it because I'v been through worse. I thnk that summer must be a very busy time for many of us. It has been for me with ,working, gardening and having my daughter here for two weeks. (We had a stupendous visit!!) I just want everyone to know that I look at the pictures of our beautiful children every day. I think of all of you and pray that you are doing well. Even when it is quiet, we continue to hold each other in our hearts.
Hello Daffodil...and all :-) I check this site daily also;;; but since summer is here it seems I am constantly on the run < - - busy is better 4 me) We are ok, sometimes life is still day by day... and couple times I didnt cry for two days in a row..< - - and then I bawl/sob realizing it. oh emotions!! Lots going on including a 4th of July picnic/campfire/fireworks/sleepover at my oldest stepsons. and next month is wedding of my oldest son. So it will be wonderful to have much family around us again. Lots of rain here in Pennsylvania;; so our garden needs weeded also; but lookin good. Im thinking of YOU all..... as we keep on loving our children. Denise
I am doing really well for now I just got back from my trip to Minnesota visiting my Son's Heart Recepient and meeting the rest of his family,they are really great people loving caringing & considerate,took us in to there homes treated us as we are family,I think I really needed that considering the 5th Anniversary is coming up on the 14 of next month.I pray you all are doing well...
