Oh, poor Furface. She looks so cute in the sink that she barely fits in! No, not both of my kitties did well at the vet. Mr. Big Boy hid his face and tried to go out the closed window.

Doesn't Furface realise that the sink is a TRAP??!! I was "baby sitting" for some friends who were going out of town, and one of their brood, Ash, had to have a pill twice a day. OF COURSE, he wasn't to start them till the morning AFTER they left, AND they had NEVER even given him any pills before THEMSELVES! That first morning was like a Marx Bros. movie; First I closed all escape doors from the bedroom. I tried just sitting beside him and holding his jaws open with one hand while trying to pill him with the other. Spit it out. On to STERNER measures. Next: between my legs facing away from me and tried that way (usually worked with MY own pill hater of the time, Louie (RIP))Result: crumbled bits of pill all over bed and floor, and bloody scratches all over ME. Ash:2, Carol:0. Finally! INSPIRATION! I lugged (and I DO mean lugged; Ash is a 20+ Lb. Maine Coon) his ass into the master bedroom bathroom and squashed him into the little sink. Feet under body! TRAPPED! Pill #2 swallowed! VICTORY!!
