I'm a lil confused, because we have always ridden with lights on. Although only trike owner for 3 yrs. (short always?) Lisence? Yrs. ago Mongo said he didn't have to have one. in Il. Now ya do. I want headlight on because I do not trust those that refuse to see. And yes when they take out a biker they should be fully prosecuted! It sounds like Jack tht you live in a tourist zoo! Ofcourse after Mongo went thru a big deal to get triker lisence (joke) the powers that be decided they are not needed. I suppose if you have been riding forever, these things would be annoying.

i live here because;
my wife is from jacksonville. a born and bred 4th generation floridian. you can count that on one hand.
the schools here in st augustine were much much better than those in jacksonville which was important when my daughter was growing up.
although i am from indianapolis and sure miss REAL RACE CARS (i.e. midgets,non-winged sprint cars and indy cars) it still snows there!!!!
it doesn't snow here!!!!
every march we have bike week!!!!!!! and during that one blessed week all the blue hairs and snow birds leave.
with luck st augustine will return to what it was in the 70's as more and more people who were transferred due to work come home.
when that happens we will get our revenge!!!!!!!

ps. and the real reason is peggy is happy. for 8 of the most miserable years of my life she stuck it out in atlanta. when she called in our deal (which was tell me and we will leave) i asked her what took so long since the surf really sucks in atlanta!!!!!!
