It is time to send a clear, unequivocal message – we have started a movement. The passion and energy that the Democratic primaries ignited is stronger than ever, and now it is our job – our responsibility – to put it to good use.
In the wake of this historic campaign, we have turned our focus to the urgent issues that still need to be addressed. We heard your outrage over the flagrant, often hostile, gender bias in the campaign. We will respond. We paid attention to your call for recognition of the votes and values of the 18 million people who supported Hillary Clinton. We will demand answers. We listened when Hillary proudly proclaimed, "There are no acceptable limits and there are no acceptable prejudices in the twenty-first century." We will stand for none.
