Not mine, but I'll explain

A friend of mine who I fell out of contact with approximately a year ago just wrote me an email describing a dream she had with me in it. I will repeat it here just as it was written to me. Any ideas?

"in my dream your cat went on my shoulder and you were jealous it liked me more than you. Then you were balancing a dumbell on your foot and you were so proud of yourself."

Gee, it almost sounds like she thinks you're too egotistical.

Sounds to me like your friend is missing you.. "the cat on the shoulder bit" is her longing to be closer to you and by having your cat close to her she has the feeling of being closer to you which the friend is missing.. seeing you balance the barbell.. could mean.. that the friend knows you have a busy life and are trying to balance things out.. and that you are sucessful so are happy in what you are doing..(proud of your accomplishments) thus in some way your friend knows the reason why the two of you are not as close as you once were... but the friend still longs for those times again.
