INTRODUCTION
You know how everyone has a junk drawer to throw stuff into or a cookie jar that is filled with knick-knacks; a key you don't remember what lock it belongs to, spare change, etc. Well I have a teapot I used to fill with notes to God. I would leave the Lord messages like, 'Father please, help my Son, he is having a hard time right now'. I would write on small colorful note paper, fold it up and place it in the teapot. This was my way of learning how to pray when I first got saved. I was so used to some traditional memorized prayer that I repeated over and over that I did not feel God was hearing me, and so began the notes to God. My teapot was overflowing and I quickly learned that this was a form of prayer. Just speak to Him, normal conversation as if you are writing a letter to a friend. Jesus is the friend beyond all friends; I can always count on Him; so much so that He laid down His life for me. Just like everyone else that decides to clean up their junk drawer, I decided to empty out my over stuffed teapot. As I opened each little folded note I began to weep and whisper thank you Lord, thank you Lord; for every little note to God (my prayer) was answered.
Then I began to journal, I wrote about the things that were happening with me and my family and how God saw us through. This journey has been thus far incredible. God has so gently brought us through every test and trial with tender mercy.
No, I have not yet arrived; I am still a work in progress. Aren't we all?
My desire is that if you are going through a test or trial, may one of the devotional stories help you to see that there is joy in the morning. So serve yourself a cup of tea or coffee and enjoy.
teapot-what a good thing you started a journal about the blessings. You have a ready-made book! I wish I had kept journals of any part of my life. Writing my life story would have been so much easier.
Look forward to reading your book Teapot, and thanks for the inspiration.
Thank you for showing interest, it blesses my heart.
My goal was to share some of my experiences in short story form so that who ever is going through something similar they can see their way through and hopefully not make the same mistakes I've made. Either way God was always good and He saw me through my own stubbornness. One story is actually titled; THAT'S THAT!; which is a demand I usually make when I want my own way.

I've just been challenged by several people that know me in MINISTRY to write a 'HOW TO' about being a choir director. I have Directed Choirs for over 17 years and I also sing solo. I think it is a challenged I will except as soon as I finished my other projects:
!.) Church Cook Book - almost done
2.) Prayer and Devotional Book for Women - needs more work
3.) Christian Romantic Novel - a long term project
I think all this will keep me pretty busy?
question: How do you handle your busy schedules?
There has been a demand for my Christmas play for the churches of my city, It is a good thing on have available already in Lulu.com
I do want to make some changes, decided to include a bad guy in the play, you must have some drama.............lol.
