hello, new member with a question

Hello everyone, I'm a new member with a problem, so I'm asking for help right off the bat! I have Windows Vista, and the Internet Explorer browser isn't allowing videos on youtube or anywhere else to load, play or show at all on any websites after the online Windows files update I did today, something to do with not running Active-X in the same way as before these file updates and the current version of Flash accociated with videos. I have all my favorites (bookmarks) on Internet Explorer and hate to switch to Mozilla Firefox or Avant Browser for that reason, but I need to access videos. I don't know how many of you have updated Windows Vista files recently, but I'm hoping someone has a solution to this problem - I appreciate any help I can get!

In switching to Firefox all your Fav bookmarks are carried over

I have Vista Ultimate. I haven't had any problems playing videos. And since I switched to Firefox, I refuse to use IE. I may change my profile name to FoxyVal!

Thx for the response...Like I said, I've only had this problem since yesterday when I updated the required windows files online. I guess I'll go to Firefox and let the bookmarks carryover, I thought they would. Thx again!

You could try downloading and installing the latest Flash player from Adobe.com.
