Outlook

I have a fairly new computer. It is an HP with an amd 5600+ processor, 3gig ram, 2-320gig hd's and Vista home. I can't use outlook or windows mail to send e-mail I keep getting this message "The connection to the server has failed. Subject '', Account: 'pop.central.cox.net', Server: 'smtp.cox.central.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E" I an using the correct POP and SMTP settings that worked in XP. My ISP doesn't support outlook so they won't help me. I would like to be able to send e-mails from word but keep getting the above message. I have to use The cox website to send and receive mail. I have even deleted my account in outlook and opened a new one. Where do I go from here?

Wondering How?

I have noticed that there are groups that show on the front page of eons and I was wondering how you get your group on there?

THE AWAKENING

THE AWAKENING

When in that faraway and secreted place where only my mind can travel, my senses are finely tuned. I can taste the tender sweetness of your lips as they brush against mine, hear your heart pounding within the human confines of your chest, inhale you masculine essence like an expensive perfume, and feel your touch while your arms embrace and encircle my pale body.

Although exquisite beyond words, I am sad for only four of my senses are keenly aware. Blessed sight is absent. Your face and expressions conceal themselves, constantly veiled by the misty, midnight shadows. When I return from my faraway place, I awaken to the empty reality of a new dawn, finding myself still alone and always aching for your actual presence. O’, man of mystery, why is it that you remain elusive? What is your raison d'être? Uniting only in dreams is a meager substitute for the possible realities of unrestrained love.

Precious life is too brief for the mind to play games of hide and seek with the heart. Have mercy on my poor, pathetic soul. Have pity on my hurting heart. Have compassion for my hollow being. I entreat you to reveal yourself. O’, man of mystery, humbly I beseech you to come into the light where all my senses can flourish, where I can love you totally unfettered by midnight’s blindness.

WHAT I DISCOVERED

If you ever decide to take a trip to Talladega I would recommend that you stay in the free camping area. All you need to get in is proof that you have a race ticket. We stayed in tents took our own food and drinks,a grill and everything we thought we would need but as always there are things you forget or don't know you need till you get there.

First we discovered the firewood we took wasn't enough so we ended up buying some and we discovered that it varies greatly in price. So look around for the best price, also we discovered that you can buy ice and water and newspapers right on the campground. I would suggest that you drive a few miles and save a few dollars on ice its 5 bucks a small bag at the camp but just a few miles down the road its 2 bucks for a 20lb bag. I was surprised to see so many motor homes in the free camping, if you have a RV I suggest you bring a generator with you. Also if you will probably want to rent a port-a-potty if your not camping close to the free ones.

I was worried we wouldn't be able to sleep or that it would be boring but that wasn't the case. The campground has a policy that 12 to 6 am is quiet time so sleep wasn't a problem. They also provided a band and fireworks so it was a great time and entertaining for all. I saw dogs and kids even having a great time. So if you ever get the chance to go to Dega consider the free camping. I would recommend that you get there early and camp close to one of the roads we didn't and almost got blocked in but we learned and will do better next time.

They have a tram that will take you to the race track but you have to walk to the paid area to catch it. Also take sunscreen and sunglasses and a bit more money than you think you will need I took more than enough but wasn't sure about prices but next time I will know. You can take coolers into the racetrack but be prepared to open them and have them searched as well as backpacks if they aren't clear.
They must fit under your seat or you will be holding them the entire race. Also if you buy anything at the race track be ready to pay for it I found that Beer was cheaper than a Large Coke. All in all it was worth every penny and I look forward to doing it again.
