ready to hit another week

I am the beginning of sorrow, and the end of sickness. You cannot express happiness without me, yet I am in the midst of crosses. I am always in risk, yet never in danger. You may find me in the sun, but I am never out of darkness.

We are deeply saddened with the death of our male Dachshund, Anthony Izzy. Anthony has been a member of the family since he was a little puppy. He was our first doxie and brought us to love him and the breed. Anthony was the pack leader for his girlfriend Cleopatra who he treated with great kindness, and our Yellow Lab male who he dominated and terrorized.

After a very active life, Anthony became ill with diabetes and cushings disease. As a result he became blind. He still lead an active life and enjoyed every day - although he did get more aloof with the family and didn't want to be picked up and held. Anthony maintained his pack leadership and the other puppies knew it.

His health has been failing recently, however his end did come somewhat premature. On Saturday while he was outside, I turned my back for a short time and he fell into the swimming pool. Before I got him out he had gone under and took in a lot of water. We rushed him to the Vet, and she treated him, but I believe that the shock was too much for his fragile system and he died early this morning.

I know God has a special place for these very special creatures. Our sorrow will wane, but our memories of Anthony will remain strong and happy.

Well, crud! I was out shopping tonight getting ready to leave on a cruise Wednesday so I missed the whole first hour of the show. The rest of you will have to give a good critique and fill me in on what I missed!

I hope I'll be able to catch the results show tomorrow.

I'm also going to miss next Monday night's show! Darn, I just hate when things I love conflict with each other! But I'm not missing this cruise for anything!!

Just got notice from Donald that he will be back. He is in the middle of Computer malfunction and other life events......when he is up and running again, he will be returning to the pool. He says to tell all hello! Please do not ask me any questions because this is all I know...............I will not be answering any replies

I find it hard to believe that we about to elect a congress with more Democrats and they are they the ones who created the fannie mae and freddie mac mess. We are also going to reward them with the Presidency. the world is crazy.

I am not saying the GOP is fault free but the Democrats are more to fault then the GOP.
