Try going to HayHouse.com, or her own site. I ordered mine from HayHouse. I believe she is in Las Vegas now at one of the hotels. It should tell on her website which hotel.
I am a big fan of Silvia Browne.I am reading THE ADVENTURES OF A PSYCHIC right now.Its kind of her autobiography.
Wow, do we disagree on this one. I have also watched Sylvia Browne on Montel and think she is a complete phony. She seems to often be condescending and says, "Well, you'll understand it later"!
She comes off as a complete fraud to me.
The Emperor
I like to read all kinds of books on the subject. I may not agree with everything they say, but it is such an interesting subject.
Oh my gosh, I hate to say this (hanging head here), but am in total agreement with Risco.
I think she may have some gifts and has parlayed them into multi bucks ...for the most part she's the quintessential fake psychic with all the usual dodges. From her shoes to the tips of the curved witch-length fingernails, she projects the trite image of the smoke and mirrors fortune teller moderned up.
It was a bit of a hobby of mine when I was younger to bust phony psychics, which I'm sure I've mentioned. I'm not infallible, but I've known good ones personally and I've seen a lot who should be ashamed to give answers to people who look to them with frantic hope on their faces wanting to know if their children are still alive or if their cancer will come back .
She's a good people reader and fast on her feet in her answers. She's also a showman and what the carneys call a pitch man, but she's not what she advertises. And she is rich....very, very rich.
I too, can not read one of her books from cover to cover. I do not believe in a lot she says. I think she has a gift but she is not the one with all the answers. She does not believe in hell or the devil or demons. I do. If one does not agree with her or questions her to closely, she gets very condescending. I think her and Montel have cashed in on their friendship. I don't trust either one of them. I saw a rerun of Montel the other day and Sylvia made some predictions and they were not very accurate. She said gas prices would not go far above $3.00 a gallon. We all know that is not true. When it comes to physics you just have to be careful what you believe. Trust your own instincts.
There's a very interesting website that exists solely to debunk Sylvia Browne. Since I have never seen her myself, I cannot pass judgment, but it does make interesting reading. Your mileage may vary.

To be honest, I feel much the same as purplerose. The Emperor and I have had this discussion before and everyone understood when he stands when it comes to Sylvia Browne!
Maybe not being able to read her book is my unconscience minds way of telling me shes a phony.
Ya, I hate being the wet blanket, here, but I watched many times when she was on and I'm not impressed. I agree, she may have some gifts, but I see more self-serving and I can tell you your grandfather is behind you; and while I'm sitting beside Montel, you might believe me.
She is good over all at what she does.

Oh and some time back in groups in MSN there was this gentleman who was in a chatroom one day and described the room I was in, the patio set and colors outside, the home kitty corner to me and told me the cars that were in its driveway at that moment.
Maganbabe was in groups with me in the same venue and may remember that, too.
NOW THAT impressed me. Whew!
The point I'm making is that there are mediums (or whatever they might call themselves) among us we may never even know, because they feel that what they do is a real gift and not marketable, only making themselves known to people they connect with as they're meant to.
Ha!
