( OUR 5th SEASON )

HELLO WAVE
~ Do you actually have a 5th New England season where you live?

We very definitely do.....
known as the *tourist* season!
SUMMER SUN

~ It always begins with Memorial Day weekend for fun boating and swimming and then sorta~kinda ends just after Labor Day weekend, but then it resumes during Columbus Day weekend because of our absolutely amazing foliage and rather soon afterward, the skiing fun begins when we become buried in snow!

And of course, we are once again reminded just how truly fortunate we are that gorgeous New England is our home and we do not have to travel anywhere to enjoy and merely visit our entirely beautiful area

Actually then there must really be six seasons, you're forgetting the one between winter and spring - mud season.

We live just before you get onto the Cape, so we very rarely go over the bridges, especially on Saturday or Sunday.

Hi *poet* ~
oh, we sooo love watching the
fun sailboat regatta up here on
the lake every summer!
~ and then of course, we also really
enjoy admiring one whenever it so very
gracefully and casually just glides by us
through the calm water.....
always so soothing and blissfully q-u-i-e-t

TEENY TABBY Hi *idletimes* ~
we live at the very end of a dead-end
private dirt road, so I am waaay more
than merely familiar with mud!
To us though, that heralds the beginning
of our lovely spring and it proves that our
l-o-n-g arctic winter with absolutely everything
being completely frozen solid has finally ended!

Hi *janymae* ~
well, your reply sure made me smile.....
summer Saturdays + Sundays up here are
known as *the weekend crazies* and those
of us who live here know a-l-l of the little back
roads and the *secret detours*
