I think that the beings in the UFOs are tourists and we are one of the attractions in a cosmic zoo.
I think the aliens are sitting in outer space watching us and shaking their heads saying "they're not ready yet!"
As for the zany UFO's flying about...I wonder too about some of those rather odd flying machines. Could it be that our government has a secret organization that creates alien UFO's just to confused us. Wonder what that department would be called?????
I don't think it's possible to assign human behavior patterns to aliens. What they are doing may be very logical to them.
Imagine what an insect is thinking as they view our behavior.

Ufo's are very common in rural areas as well as metro.. just not as many people see them because the population is smaller..
Whats their game.. who knows.. as to our government they know they exist.. and we have lost military planes chasing them.. the Government just doesn't wnt to release the truth.
They have their own agenda.. we may never know.
They know we will self destuct and, they are just watching what fools we are. Why should they help us. we have nothing they want. We are a human soap opera. We are due to be cancelled soon.
I agree that they are just looking us over. Sometimes I wonder if they are kids on a field trip and the teachers are telling them--"If you don't treat the planet and each other with respect, this is what will happen."
They do appear in rural areas--I have seen them many times. There is an area about 40 miles from here that supposedly has some type of rare rock and several people reported seeing lost of them back in the mid-70's.
It is frustrating that we the general population don't yet have "concrete" proof. But I do believe the government does. And yes, some of the ships do seem a bit unsophisticated. But then, how sophisticated do our space craft look? Sometimes I just wish we'd have public definitive proof, but not like in Independence Day or War of the Worlds. :-D
There have been mass sightings of "unidentified flying objects" over heavily populated areas. Like Phoenix, for example, just a couple of years ago. Vancouver, BC, another.
Trained observers that they are, commercial pilots have made reports of strange craft they saw flying beside their planes.
If I recall correctly, so did at least one of our astronauts.
Unidentified is just that -- "unidentified." Whether the planes/craft are super secret military or from another realm is speculation.
Physicists are doing some interesting work on dimensions -- theorists in the field believing there may be as many as 10 dimensions -- another possible explanation for things we see one moment that vanish in the next.
Mysteries like this fascinate me and make we want to know more. Newspaper reports can be quite superficial, but there is so much written on the subject anyone who is truly curious can find much on the shelves -- including well documented sightings.
I am of the opinion that with the billions and billions of stars and planets out there, for God to have placed life just here -- to paraphrase a line from a film, "Seems such a waste."
GOTHAM GIRL: I just read in another group that they're actually saying there may be as many as 11 dimensions. I read, lost and re-purchased a book called Flying Saucers Are Serious Business. It's and old book but that was a good book. It included a sighting in N.J. over a body of water where there were witnesses. I think the craft was hovering 200 feet above. The dumb explanation was that it was the moon reflecting off the water. Some co-workers left our job at GE and had a sighting while waiting for the bus. This was about 40 years ago. I know there have been many sightings by reputable people including presidents (okay...maybe not so reputable :-D ), pilots, law enforcement officers and top level government & military personnel.
I do not like to talk about UFO incidents I have been involved in. It does scare me. But to shorten the story. The message I got from the experience was " You are not ready, yet." Fine with me. Give me ghost any day! I don't fear them but aliens scare me.
