Welcome to the Senior Games
We have created this group to provide a place for Eons athletes to find inspiration, training tips, and have some fun. You will meet a few athletes who are training for the Senior Games in 2009! We welcome everyone who is serious about their fitness, or who might be training for a walkathon, a bike ride, or a 5K run!
We can all learn and support one another as we continue to enjoy the benefits of sports and fitness in our lives!
Humana and the Senior Games
As the presenting sponsor for the 2007, 2009 and 2011 Summer National Senior Games, Humana salutes the athletes and their dedication, drive and determination for participation. More than 12,000 athletes, 600 of whom were Humana members, competed in the 2007 Games held in Louisville, Kentucky.
These games represent the largest multi-sport event for people 50 and over. Humana is excited to continue as the presenting sponsor for the 2009 Summer National Senior Games, which will be held August 1-15, 2009 in Palo Alto, California at Stanford University. The 2011 Summer National Senior Games will take place in Houston, Texas from June 19 to July 5, 2011.
