Isabelle's life revolves around the New York bookshop she works in and the intellectual friends of both sexes she meets there. Her grandmother remains less than impressed and decides to hire a good old-fashioned Jewish matchmaker to help Isabelle's love-life along. Enter pickle-maker Sam who immediately takes to Isabelle. She however is irritated by the whole business, at least to start with.

I'm new to this group,but hope we can all share a nice cup of tea on a chilly evening. I love the idea of having a tea; I've been meaning to do this for my daughter but things got out of hand fast and the idea went south. So, let's have tea!

My son came home tonight with a 3 CD 50th Anniversary pak of ALL the best Motown ever recorded.

This cozy little cafe is just the place for chums to meet and talk about the everyday stuff that is happening in their lives. Stop in, even if it just to say hello or good morning!

Remember Sunday afternoon car rides just to see the signts. What a blessing that was. I use to get so bored, I would sing the Large Billboards along the way. Now I wish I could afford to go for a Sunday Ride. Have to save gas for work trips. But, as the leaves continue to turn, I'll splurge and one day ride up to the Mountains to the Apple Orchard. Maybe next Sunday it will be Peak. What a treat. Enjoy your day everyone.

Made my first tipsy planter and did not buy enough pots. Will have to get some more when I go shopping again. I planted some pansies in them and do hope they make it for a couple months.

Well folks, I am packing up my house and getting ready to head out west to Kansas to live. I met him here on eons and he flew out to see me in March and then this trip I just took to Kansas a few weeks ago was to visit him.
We love each other and we decided that we want to be together and see how it goes. He's flying here on Tuesday to help me get all my stuff out of the condo and were renting a U-Haul and hauling my car back to Kansas. I am trying to find renters for the condo now and have a man who is going to manage it for me.
I'll still be on eons and still be part of this family. :-)

But they sure better have mozzarella and ricotta out there!!!!

We'll probably leave Florida around the 22nd and get there around the 25th, so I'll be offline until then. I'll miss you all terribly and can't wait to get back here.

Specifically, Molotov cocktails. They were hurled at a McCain/Palin sign in a private yard and risked burning home. If a McCain supporter did such a violent act, the mainsream media would go into a state of emergency. They spent 3 days showing footage of a woman calling him a Arab. Where's the coverage of this violence by his followers?
