More questions, lol
Thanks e'one for the info on winter squash, now how do I know when they are ready to harvest? They have turned from light green to a peach color but are not as big as the ones in the grocery store. Should I let them continue to grow or pick them now? They are about 5-6 inches long. Also, from the same group of seeds some of the fruit are long and some are short and round, what's up with that?
Next, I found a small bug/worm? on a new tomato. It was burrowing a hole, I got it out but should I remove the tomato from the bush or will it be ok. Kinda yucky to think about eating it after that, lol.
