Why this group was begun !
Hi, this stm 11 reminding the group why I began our 'big tent' group! I came across a post in a group that I did not know existed and wanted to comment, so I signed up. But, the owner of the group had placed a block on me, the owner apparently had read my conservatives on other groups and decided that he views I held were not for that group. My blackliating, angered me, and i decided to begin a group where all poiints of view wwere welcome. I love discussion. I wish that all our members could just realize that the give and take of different views is a wonderful thing. PleaSE, DON'T THINK OF AN OPPOSING VIEWPOINT AS THE VIEW2POINT OF AN 'ENEMY'. When I challange a point of view, I don't expect to change the view of the one I challange--I am hoping to influence the opinions of those looking on at the discussion. Let's be good to one another, while we stick to our 'guns' (points of view).
