Caregivers for Elderly Parents

I would like you to stop by this group if you are a caregiver for your parents. First of all - thank you...it is not easy and not everyone realizes how hard it is.

This site is where people that are taking care of their elderly and aging parents come to share problems, get ideas, vent frustrations, find out how to keep dealing with elderly anger, depression, mental and sometimes physical abuse from your loved ones while you are repaying the debt of love and care they gave you.

Stop by!

Yes, I have a great interest in the elderly. Not only am I getting near that age myself, but I've worked with them most of my career in the EMS transportation field. I have been fortunate so far my parents have all their faculties and little depression but I have recently attended seminars to better my knowledge in this area. I am in the process of developing an ElderCare ambulance Transportation system based on amenity styled comfort in handling and care. I have worked with a firm from Georgia Tech University to develop special padding for our stretcher overlays and have built in hot blanket warmers in the rear patient compartment. We even have DVD players and are considering DirecTV screens for patients to watch. I have a lot of dialysis patients who can't wait to give us a try just for the hot blankets. I hope to be up and running in about 2 weeks. If anyone can add any suggestions I could use to better comfort an anxious or aggressive patient, I would be all ears.
