Freedom of Speech is not a right per the TOU of this website. But, it does go hand in hand with personal responsibility and accountability. Remember the Golden Rule “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”.
We will delete or end discussions for the following reasons at FOS:
1. Posts that violate eons TOU. Read them when in doubt.
2. At the request of a member who wants his or her own post deleted for their own reasons.
3. Cross-posting. It is pointless. It dilutes dialogue.
4. When further discussion is not necessary and has been beaten to death.
5. When a new thread's subject is already being discussed.
We will delete replies to a post that we consider “baiting”, sarcastic or name calling and serve no purpose at all. Please remember this “rule”: reply to the post, not the poster”.
PLEASE keep the initial post to a short paragraph or two. Put the rest in the first reply. This courtesy makes it possible to showcase many posts on page one – not just yours!!
WHEN SOMEONE IS BEING A DOOFUSS OR SAYS SOMETHING YOU DON'T LIKE - IGNORE THEM. NOTHING YOU CAN OR WILL SAY WILL CHANGE THEIR MIND.
