Anyone FInd this odd?

Obama and Hillary's first together campaign is going to be held in Unity NH where they each got the same number of votes, 174 I think. My problem is this..Is Hillary still trying to make a point by going where she got equal votes as he? Also what good is a meeting in Unity NH. I LIVE in NH and don't know where it is. Its a VERY small town, that I know. What a waste of a good rally. Is Hillary trying to help without really helping? I am suspicious.

You are right to be suspicious. I don't trust her as far as I can throw her. I'm sure Obama surrounds himself with geniouses and they are prepared.

I think we can try to analyze too much sometimes. Sometimes an apple is just an apple and not a subtle way of invoking the Mac....

Who knows, maybe Barack has a good reason for choosing the place and time.

Funny how many of us are shouldering left over suspicion ... and perhaps rightly so.
I think the long primary season and all the battles (and kitchen sinks) have conditioned us to look askance when HRC is mentioned/involved.
My suspicion is less but still there....

An apple is an apple and will always be. The longer you keep it,it will rotten. NO, I think this Hillary have something up her sleeves. She wants her supporters to pay off her debt for one, or Obama to help pay it off. Something isn't right!

You GUYS?! Come on. I have a hunch the Obama campaign decided on a town named "Unity" for a reason! Duh! Unity means unity. It makes sense the Obama camp would suggest a place where they got equal votes, as a tribute to Hillary for what was actually a remarkable campaign. I believe it is a fitting act of nuanced and discrete diplomacy from the Obama camp. Hillary is likely willing to accomodate since she and the Obama campaign are now truly partners. The Obama camp is in the process of retiring her 22.3 million campaign debt -- not from the pool of funds sent in by individuals like us, but more likely by partnering with Clinton and fascilitating the procurement of funds from various avenues. Hillary is cooperating with Obama to get a Democrat into the White House. No other position on her part makes any sense to her constituents or anyone else.

There aren't any Clinton monsters under the Democratic bed. (Is there post traumatic stress disorder going on here?)

Yeah, LagunaP, I think there IS some post traumatic stress going on here....lol!
I still have some, but it's milder.
The media is playing up their meeting on Friday, and I did hear it mentioned (on ABC news video) that her campaign is "disappointed" he has not offered to help with her
campaign debt. So.......who knows what is going on. The media is MISinforming as
usual, as they love to have drama and keep the fires going. Part of that entertaining
us that RFK, Jr. mentioned in that video!
Geesh!

Maybe OPbama did pick the spot, but its still a lousy place for a rally I think there are only 5000 people in the whole town. Whatever, as long as she doesn't stab him in the back somehow.. I am not so suspicious of her personally, as her people. And why on earth should Obama pay her debt that she ran up trying to beat him. Thats a werid thought to me.

Laguna. P.

I am with you on this one for sure!
I would say they are trying to 'suggest' a unifed party.
As far as Hillary goes I suppose she could be snide or bitchy by why would she want to look bad? Just because it was a place that they got about the same amount of votes doesn't mean anything to me.

I don't think there is anything wrong with choosing a small town for this rally. People will go from other areas too I am sure.

Not that I have ever looked.....but I dare say there are far more small towns in this country than metro areas.
It is about time small places were given a little importance too. Afterall people in small towns vote and they are the ones more apt to be hard to budge.
