Help please.....

Issues with Loading a Banner?

I followed all the directions.
Uploaded my image to my profile photo section --974 pixels wide by 100 pixels tall; went to “Edit my current skin”. Downloaded the url, set ‘no-repeat’ and position ‘center center,’
hit preview, it looked fine so I hit Save Skin.
I keep getting an Error message:
“There were problems with the following fields:
* Banner url is not a valid image url”

This is the URL I am using.

What am I doing wrong??? I know it's me........lol

Are you trying to use the codes in the yellow box next to your image? They wont work for banners so try this:

1. Left click once on the image you want to use and a new window will open.

2. Put your cursor directly ON the image and right click once then click on "properties". The Properties Box will open.

3. Highlight and copy the Address URL. It will look something like this(without the ++'s)
++http://www.eons.com/images/members/0/ 9/09069289_o.jpeg++ Be sure you copy ALL of the URL beginning with the http and ending with the jpeg.

4. Open your profile page, click on "Change My Skin" then click on the "Edit" link under your current profile skin view.

5. Click on the "Banner" tab and paste the URL you copied into the blank box that says: "Choose a photo you've uploaded to Eons or paste the location (URL) of an image"

6. Click on preview to view your new banner and if you are satisfied click on save changes and you're done.

Thanks for answering rich. I found the information in your files that you have in this reply. So, yes I followed those directions exactly. I also tried using one of your welcome banners and still the error message. It is a puzzle....
I guess no one else is having problems. Could be my old ME 2000 computer.

I tried adding your image to my skin by following those directions I gave you and it worked fine. Do you have a photobucket account? If so, you might try uploading that image to photobucket and get the url from there. Be sure to use the photobucket "direct link" code and not the "html" code if you go that route. Good luck...
