Celebreting my best friends birthday this weekend, just came back from doing food ministry for my church-a little tired, going to take a nap, then go to the Bronx and do a little shopping...it's all good! Have a great day everybody!

The weather has been nice here in Ohio too. IMO.

I missed ya'll! I took a few days hiatus away from the computer to concentrate on my plants! I've been doing alot of gardening, and just alot of sitting looking at my plants grow!
Thats why I want a laptop! So I can be outside and not stuck-up in the house on the computer! This time of year I just always feel the urge to be outside!
Rehearsal this morning (Saturday). Texas Polka Jamboree this afternoon (danced my butt off). Dinner at a Brazilian churrascaria with friend this evening (ate waaaaaaaaaay too much!). Tomorrow there's a birthday party (ice cream social) for a friend and an audition for Macbeth. A great weekend!!! We've even had a little rain and a break in the heat. Love it!
We have a temp reprieve from the humidity and heat here in Ga. Its been in the 80's and very nice. Normally we're pushing 100 by mid June and there is no description for the humidity...a sledgehammer to the chest maybe!
Yesterday I went to a wonderful jazz rehearsal to prepare for a job on Monday night. Last night I sang a jazz duo for a great little Italian place. One really nice thing about playing there is that we get dinner and its awesome! This morning I'll go to church and then this afternoon there is a group picnic for which I'm providing brownies and a sound system (one of the perks of being a musician is that folks know I have sound "stuff"). Tomorrow night is the "big gig" which is a benefit for a family that was left in 'dire straights'. We have guest artists coming in and expect a great turn out..
All in all...its a wonderful weekend. Thanks for asking!
