Welcome janymae...I hope you enjoy this group....I live on the North shore and there is a few towns and cities I've haven't seen here in Mass. and someday I would like to accomplice....:)
Hi Janymae, welcome to the group, I am sure you will enjoy being here. I live in the seacoast area of N.H., Exeter is one town away from the ocean, I was born and raised here although I have lived in other places. Who says you can't go home again?
Welcome to the Group. I'm also a Jan - live in Hanson, MA. As far as the seasons go, I love Spring and Autumn. I even enjoy the Winters. The Summer heat and humidity can be a bit much when I'm trying to accomplish outdoor activities. Way back when, I've lived in California and also in Pennsylvania, but I agree that New England is the real place to call home.
Hi Jan.... I too am new to this group but I want to welcome you also!! I live in Northern Maine but are planning on retiring this fall to the southern part....York, Kittery, Eliot..... still looking!!! Love the seasons also and wouldn't want to be too far from the ocean... I'm glad you joined!!!! Jazzy
Good Morning Jan
Nice to have you join our group!! I have to chuckle, because even tho' I am a true "Maine-iac", I am now living in Nebraska. This was my late husband's home. Back to my "story".......you had put in your note that you wouldn't want to live anywhere but NE; well, I know that you mean "New England". But, Nebraska's abbreviation is NE, so for a long time I've had a problem with the "NE", is that Nebraska or is that New England?
New England all the way, aggiesue. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. Jan
Hi Jan,
Welcome to the group.
Originally from Western MA, but return to New England, Vermont, every summer. Should be back home by the 28th and simple can't wait to see family and friends.
I got a chuckle out of the NE regarding Nebraska. Spent time in Gering/Scott's Bluff, Western NE, last year and it's a wonderful place with tons of friendly people.
