We were there in Sept. We took a little over 2 weeks to make the round trip from Tx to Ca. The Grand Canyon was one of our many spectacular stops. Very dog friendly for a National Park. The dogs were allowed on all paved paths and there's a lot of paved trail on the south rim making it a very scenic exercise opportunity. We have a large (2 1/2 acres) fenced lot at home so the dogs are used to having a lot of running room. The girls are both great travelers. Cowboy, on the other hand, isn't keen on being confined to such small spaces for such a long period so he stayed at "camp".

You know, lookng at it from the dog's point of view, they just have to be in AWE of whatever dog dug THAT hole!!!
