Comparison Shopping Site for LowCost Prescriptions

eDrugSearch.com is a comparison shopping site where you can find low prices on medications from Canada. Prescription drug prices in Canada are currently 25 to 50 percent less than U.S. prices, on average. The great thing about eDrugSearch.com is that all the pharmacies have been run through a 10-point inspection process, ensuring they are properly licensed and have safe and secure procedures in place. That way, you know the meds are both safe and affordable. eDrugSearch.com was recently featured on the national TV show, The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet, on a segment on online pharmacy safety. Particularly if you don't have prescription drug insurance, you should definitely check this site out.

Sounds great, except for one little thing: I understand that US Customs now 'confiscates' meds ordered by US folks out of Canada, as often as not--it is still technically 'illegal' for us to ORDER them via the 'net, just 'not illegal' to drive across the border to buy them...and I live in Texas, not a Canadian border state.

I guess you do know that our Customs department opens all manner of packages from out of Canada, right? I have had enough trouble with some posters of a Canadian singer I ordered from Maple Music last year--Customs decided to open and thus destroy one of them for me. All other orders I've ever placed with that company I've received okay, but the orders have been taking much more time to actually GET here. Customs just 'keeps them' longer and longer--it is so irritating! If they do that with such 'harmless' items as artists' music and merchandise, I can only imagine what they do with suspected 'medication orders'!

Be just my luck to order meds, PAY for them, have them confiscated, etc. It's difficult enough trying to order them from places right here in the US, and actually GET them delivered. Have had that trouble in the past with the AARP pharmacy, for example...

In truth, is there any way to 'guarantee' we'll either GET those meds, or get credit card refunds for non-delivered meds? Plus, what are the 'guarantees' that placing such orders aren't going to get us into trouble here, thus heavily fined, in the US? I sure do NOT need THAT!

Very true. Since 911 importing anything has been tight, like you said, all the way down to posters. However, most credible pharmacies from both Canada and overseas have a 100% guarantee that you will receive your meds. If they don't arrive within the allotted time, (usually a couple of weeks) the pharmacy will resend the package no questions asked until you receive it. The main thing is to make sure what the policy of the pharmacy you order from. Also, order only a 90 days supply of your meds, and don't order any controlled substances or narcotics. Many times new drugs that don't yet have a generic alternative yet available are much cheaper in Canada and overseas, and can save you much a ton of money.
