Thanks for the links.

Plastic is hard to work with or it could just be me. I started a bag and gave up on it. Any suggestion?

Keep up the good work.

I have to agree about the plastic, I've tried it before and the plastic is very stiff to crochet. Guess we're spoiled by using that nice soft yarn all the time.

I agree about being spoiled with the yarn. Even some of it is hard to work with.

you guys are cutting the strips too wide. narrow them, and twist it a bit. whala, easy. i have made at least 50 my now. also get the afghan hook, its longer and easier to grip. mine is the 10" one.

thanx rita for the links, number one, is going to be my next bag, but of course out of plastic.

How wide do you cut yours? I think the directions I read were at least 1 inch, is that too wide? I sort of doubled mine over as I crocheted but next time I will try twisting the bags.

i cut them about 3/4 inch, depending in how thick the plastic was.

another tip, baby powder. i rub baby powder over the plastic, and it goes real smooth.
