What Is The Meaning of This

I am new so I am still stumbling around and need some help. I was looking at the genealogy threads and the one I was interested in has an announcement that it is closing and to go to another. What other? Also, while trying to find another option I clicked on 1BigTribe and received a BIG notice Sorry, but you aren't allowed to access this site. I don't understand.

I'm also new to this website - where did you find the genealogy thread - I can't seem to find it on the site.
I haven't joined a group yet - can't seem to find one I fit.

This usually happens when the group is closed, but has not yet been removed from the servers.

Often when there are similar groups, they will merge together so that they have one bigger, more active group. The one you are talking about did provide a link to the new group - here it is for you -

Follow that link and you can join the group that is active.
