Just thought of a game you might have wanted to see; I and two smart-alecky grandsons, playing three handed. I beat them both by several holes, skunked one and double-skunked the other in one game. Thats a "five - in - one'er" which I will never forget or allow them to forget either. The 'Ol Man is still in control!

So many players who love the game learned from grandparents. I'm glad you've carried on the tradition!

I'm the first player in my family, but I hope not the last. I learned the game while teaching in the Alaskan Bush, where the winters are long and isolated. It sure helped pass the time!

Is this 3-handed game what I hear of as "Captains"?

Not sure if it even has a name. We at the Senior Center have from 4 to 25 players. We try to fill 4 at a table, but of course that doesn't always work. So sometimes it's 4's and 3's. the winner of 4's advance to the next table and the winner and runner-up of the 3 tables likewise.Makes for a very noisy but fun game for all.
