FDA has reported outbreaks of lettuce and tomatoes in many states.
Yesterday, here in a Chicago sandwich place, I had ordered thin crust whole grain bread, turkey, mustard, and a tomato.
'NO TOMATOES' clerk said. FDA won't let us serve them.
My friend said she saw an article in our CHICAGO TRIBUNE about this.
The day before, I was shopping. Noticed cherry tomatoes looked so good as did larger ones. I had in mind other ideas for the week, and avoid too many tomatoes any way.
