Help Please

Could someone please tell me the name of this plant and how to properly care for it ? I have had it for three years and until now it was doing good.It just put out three new branches but they are turning brown before they open up.What am I doing wrong ? Should I put it outside in the heat and humidity or inside near a window and AC ? Am I watering it too much or not enough ? Any suggestions ? Please help if you can.Thank you.

You have a nice Sago Palm. They need indirect light, not too much direct light, or the fronds will burn and turn yellow. And, they do NOT need a lot of watering. I find watering every couple of weeks or even less is enough. Water it fairly well and then wait until the soil is quite dry before watering again. I put mine outside on the deck in a shady corner during the summer (I'm in northern Virginia) and bring it back in in the fall. This palm does fine in heat and humidity! Some years it grows new fronds, and some years it doesn't. It is fairly slow growing, but the key is not to overwater and not to put it in direct sun. Hope this helps!
