Now that the true political season is upon us. i would like to know if anyone can efer me to a book or writing by a biblical scholar on the topic of the "antichrist" This term is already being thrown about. May be i am wrong but my hunch is folk who use this 1. do know know the details of what it means or 2, have a lousy vacabulary and aer unable to articulate their extreme dislike so rely on this term like an obscenity.(plus this might offer lots of fun for me)

There are now winners in this category of Eschatology and Biblical Interpretation. Hal Lindsey with his Late Great Planet Earth series is one view. Go to any Christian bookstore and you will find a lot of books on the subject even some good Jewish scholars have put out their versions based on the Book of Revelation in light of Daniel. But the cold hard reality is that none of this matters and is the fluff of Christian theology because no one knows and no one should care. Jesus called us not to be scholars but to be disciples and to love God and love people more than we love ourselves.
