Easter Lily

They sure are pretty opened up for my son's birthday on the 6th of June. I finally found a spot for my three Japanese red maples. We were having a beautiful spring for a while, ideal temperatures, rain and dew in the mornings. That ceased Friday and went right to 97 degrees in the shade..Hope everyones gardens are coming along great.

Hi there…I hope to be moving soon, perhaps in July, to northern WI…where sand is the soil. I really don’t want to amend the soil too much due to cost. My herb gardens will be in potting soil, but I want to transplant some hostas, ferns, bee balm, snow on the mountain and grow other plants.

What works well in sand and dappled light…I am in a forest setting, wooded with jack pines and oaks…and, of course, I have the varmint problem… deer, fox, raccoon and other critters

Thanks
