Why do Liberals insist on lying about their Rivals

Dems ALWAYS portray their REP opponents as being dumb and clueless.

They did it with the late, decent, Gerald Ford, They even did it with the GREAT Ronald Reagan, and if you have a clue about History, you'd know that they ALSO did it with the GREATEST OF THEM ALL Republicans, Abraham Lincoln. They DID say that he was dumb, and they even used the word "baboon" next to it.

Now here is a REALITY CHECK

Who is the most dumb and incompetent? A CONSERVATIVE that only asks for Government to climb off his back? OR A LIBERAL, Obviously, who cannot do a single damned thing in his or her life if not assisted by 1,000 corrupt and inefficient Government programs that rob Peter and do not even use HALF of the proceeds to pay Paul???

G W Bush should, as he has always done, dismiss the pitiful anlklebiters and their lies.

Why do Conservatives insist on demonizing those who disagree with them and use unfair and untrue generalities to described liberals? And call them un-American, dumb, incompetent, lazy, liers, etc.?

Why can't people simply have differing viewpoints without resorting to name calling? That's why this country is so divided today or have you not noticed that half the country disagrees with you? In fact less than 30% still approve of GWB.

BTW I consider myself a liberal (a dirty lib as everyone knows) yet have my own business. And strangely enough, none of my work comes from the government or has anything to do with any government programs. The government has done nothing to assist me that I'm aware of.

Whenever I hear or read the word ALWAYS in someone's statement about another I know someone is not telling the truth. It is obvious that not everyone in any group is exactly the same as everyone else. Those who only see the world in black and white might be more prone to see groups or individuals that way but truth is they are not.

Where are Peter and Paul going to get the money to pay for the Iraq Debacle? Unemployment is up and the GOP talks incessently about cut cut cut of revenue sources. Please feel free to tell us how we cut revenue and pay for what we are doing. Are we going to continue to BORROW AND SPEND so our children and their grandchildren will still be paying for it?

Speaking of lies.....Wasn't there a commission that recently validated a book by a former White House Press Secretary that said the Bush Administration lied about Iraq?

I just thought I'd ask.

In Europe, the word liberal has a far better meaning than in the US, it means simply somebody that is for Free Markets and Free Trade, Lessez Faire Capitalism.

If all what you say above is true, it is indeed strange that you have not yet seen the light.
