Hi, and thanks for the invite. I'm a 60 year old female with severe Rheumatoid Arthritis. I recently had to stop working, and I'm on long term disability with my former employer. I'm in process with social security disability (and I know that can take nearly forever). When I'm finally on SSDI I'll be worrying about the health coverage and prescription coverage. Right now, it's covered, but I don't know about the future. I'm on about 9 different meds including Enbrel. Feel like crap most of the time anyway.

I agree about the comedy - movies, etc. I DO watch soap operas, though, because frankly, they're pretty funny. So much angst! Makes me feel like I don't have it so badly!

There is alot of underlying humor in soaps. I always give friends and family that watch them a hard time because they are so far fetchted and unbelievable, that was until I saw how funny they are! Hopefully you will get the prescription coverage you need, and if not, thats what we are here for. We will find a better way.

Applying for SSD is very difficult. Have a friend who lived in NJ and set to apply for it and was told it would be about 5 years. She moved to Mississippi to her sister's house and she was approved on the 1st try. She was there about 3 months. Now she has moved to Florida and the weather is helping her condition. She was eligible for Medicaid for her prescriptions. Good luck. kathleen
