I am more interested in LT than V0max. Lactate Threshold seems to be a very important predictor in cycling of one's ability to sustain high speed riding. Unfortunately, unlike V02max for which you can reach your genetic potential in about a year of training, it takes many years to reach one's LT potential. Of course that is the good news in that in my example, I didn't come to cycling until the age of 64, and I am setting new state records this year at the age of 68, and I plan to break them again next year!
I had mine done about 30 years ago, but have no idea what it is now. The test is brutal.
Mine was tested 3 years ago at 44. The test wasn't that bad...my workouts are much harder!
