what with gas being $4 a gallon i am sure glad i have several two wheelers. since my health is slippin away i traded in my 06 goldwing and got a 06 VLX. i no longer felt up to holding up the goldwing with a passenger and it only got 40 mpg. the 01 goldwing i had before got 52mpg, i guess the quality control went to pot. one of my scooters can squeeze 105 mpg from a gallon of gas if i keep it around 50/55 mph so if gas keeps going up i will be using it more than the VLX or Magna. happy riding ! I have been using my bike to commute daily for the past two years. Now my friends and co-workers are also seeing the light. It's the best way to send OPEC a message. Keep it up saving fuel and having fun.
