OMG, it's so good to have a computer. My neighbor lent me her laptop for today and tomorrow.
After that, I'll be puterless again until I get to Kansas around the 25th or so.
I was sitting on my couch and had just turned to weather channel to see where the storm was heading, when a gigantic boom hit. It knocked me right off the couch onto my ass on the floor, that's how loud it was. Scared the sh*t outta me. My TV went out and I ran into the computer room and saw all kinds of hallucinogenic colors. I turned it off, but it was too late...it's dead too. Then I started noticing it was getting hot, and I went to the thermostat which is digital and it was blank...no air!
Then I pick up the phone to call the cable company and my phones were dead.
Am I happy to be leaving Florida? Oh hell yes!!! But it had to give me one more kick in the ass.
The ac was not covered for lightening. I don't think anything here is, but I will call my home insurance company on Monday and see if anything can be reimbursed.
So, I'm here for the weekend. :-)

Lieberman says that when the Senate reconvenes is January, he may stop sitting with the Democrats. I would expect that.

This morning I woke up in a hurry. In my dream I was just being cuffed as I was filling my gas tank at a gas station. Police came up behind me and pointed their guns at me and said " You are under arrest for bank robbery, don't move or we will shoot."

OMG what could that mean? Anyone study or know what our dreams mean?

Could this have anything to do with my breakup or moving or fears of the unknown future? I'm not hurting for money so I don't think I'm going to rob a bank anytime soon.

didn't do much because I baby sat all night and most of today, and, (as usual) I'm tired.

I think Cat was right about the fact that almost no one will ever change their fundamental political positions, though on individual issues, i.e. the environment, there is sometimes movement.

I always find it amusing to go into "Freedom Matters" which is a virtual mirror-image of FOS.

I truly think they will find ( are finding, actually ) the Democrat and Republican brains are simply wired differently in most cases. Just a different way of assessing things and different priorities.

finally got home this evening after spending a few xtra days at my daughter's after rotator cuff surgery.....typing one-handed but feeling GREAT!! headed for my LazyGurl for the evening......good to be back!!
