Hi All,
I am pretty local to Omega and so I treat myself to a weekend workshop once a year and commute. I also go there sometimes for the Saturday night entertainment. I love Omega so much. I find it a very healing and peaceful place. I have been hoping that Omega would have some kind of email group so I could correspond with others who are into personal development and spiritual health. This summer I am taking the Qigong workshop at the end of June. I also noticed that the catalog seems thinner than it did in years past.

Hi All,

I've taken 2 week-long classes at Omega and love it there. It's restful, peaceful, nourishing, and everyone there, guests and staff, are nice, pleasant and helpful.
I'll be there for a week in July taking the Chinese and Watercolor Painting and can't wait.

I mostly look at the catalog online so I haven't noticed the diference. I was sorry that they are no longer offering the puppet making workshop but it was very small when I went and I doubt it was sustainable. But it was really fantastic and changed my life and art forever.

Hi Dawn,

How was the Qigong workshop? If you have a second please share with the group.

Also, the Omega catalog has not shrunk...in fact it has grown. Omega now has over 350 workshops to choose from and a beautiful 144 page catalog.

You are right though, our catalog has gotten thinner. With our sustainability efforts we have decided to go with a lighter, more recycled, paper!

Hi All,
I thoroughly enjoyed the Qigong Workshop. I love it there so much, I didn't want to leave. If my work situation were different I would apply to work and live there for the summer.
