There is nothing like an island

Hi Friends,
This looks like a fun group that shares something special. If you've ever traveled or lived on an island, there is always something that calls you back.
I have lived on Oahu in Hawaii,Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman, and traveled the to Bermuda the Bahamas. I have to say that my favorite is Hopetown, Bahamas. Have you been there?

I've been to several places in the Bahamas, but never to Hopetown. What makes it so special to you?

What I love about Hopetown, Bahamas is the size. Only about 500 residents live there. So, after about a week you get to know a lot of people. No one has ever tried to sell me anything or hustle me there. They have a beautiful lighthouse in operation. The perfect place if you aren't looking for a lot of excitement.

Sometimes excitement is great, but the place you've described truly does sound like paradise. Beautiful surroundings and a laidback atmosphere are hard to beat!
