JUST CREMATE ME

~A businessman on his deathbed called his friend and said, "Bill, I want you to promise me that when I die you will have my remains cremated."
~"And what," his friend asked, "do you want me to do with your ashes?"
~The businessman said, "Just put them in an envelope and mail them to the Internal Revenue Service and write on the envelope, 'Now you have everything."

This Just In....

And its GOOD news!

CNN.com pollsters were working this weekend -- and released the results.

The CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll out Monday afternoon suggests that the country's financial crisis, record low approval ratings for President Bush and a drop in the public's perception of McCain's running mate could be contributing to Obama's gains.

Fifty-three percent of likely voters questioned in the poll say they are backing Obama for president, with 45 percent supporting McCain.

That 8-point lead is double the 4-point lead Obama held in the last CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll, taken in mid-September.

Sarah has increased her unfavorable rating from 27% in September to 40%!

Dirty Politics

There has never been a politician that I can remember who has not used dirty political ads to get their message across about their opponent. On eons we have a faction of people who cry out each time their candidate is exposed for his/her lack of integrity and character. But continue to do the same and more to offend the other candidates reputation. Most people have decided who they are going to vote for in the election and no matter what is exposed about their candidate it is not going to change their mind. My question is are we really getting anywhere with this? And why do we keep on doing this? (I'm not saying it isn't fun sometimes:o)

Church manners

Oh boy, is dad going to get a big surprise!!!

Sharon

>>>A mother took her little boy to church. While in church, the little boy said, "Mommy, I have to pee."

She told him, "It's not appropriate to say the word 'pee' in church. So, from now on, whenever you have to pee, just tell me that you have to whisper."

The following Sunday, the little boy went to church with his father. During the service, the boy said, "Daddy, I have to whisper."

The father looked at him and said, "Okay, why don't you whisper in my ear?"

Who says women are insensitive ?

Ralph returns from the doctor and tells his wife that the> doctor has told him he has only 24 hours to live. Given this prognosis, Ralph asks his wife for sex. Naturally, she agrees, and they make love. About six hours later, the husband goes to his wife and says, 'Honey, you know I now have only 18 hours to live. Could we please do it one more time?' Of course, the wife agrees and they do it again. Later, as the man gets into bed, he looks at his watch and realizes he now has only 8 hours left. He touches his wife’s shoulder and asks, 'Honey, please just one more time before I die?' she says, ‘Of course, dear.' And they make love for the third time. After this session, the wife rolls over & falls asleep. Ralph, however, worried about his impending death, tosses & turns until he's down to 4 more hours. He taps his wife, who rouses. 'Honey, I have only 4 more hours. Do> you think we could...?' At this point the wife rolls over and says, 'Listen Ralph, I have to get up in the morning... you don't.

Your twin spirit

We've all heard the saying about everyone having a twin on "the other side of the world". Do you believe this is true? And if so, would you like to meet this individual? Or would you prefer to keep it a "fantasy"?

the power of light?

One of my favorite biblical stories has to do with the ten plagues the one about darkness. Where the land of the Egyptians was so dark, they could not see the hand in front of them. Know direction. So dark they felt isolated while in the land of Goshen there was light. I have always wondered if an Egyptian stumbled over the boundary into Goshen would there be light or would they take the darkness with them?
In the last few years every April the discovery channel has a “scientific explanation for the plagues. The darkness they say was due t the pollutants thrown up into the atmosphere by the volcanic eruption that destroyed the island of santorini.(also their explanation why the red sea receeded.) But that does not answer my question at all plus the show which I watched once or twice leaves me incredibly unsatisfied.
