I have had plantar fascitis a few times and now I have chronic achilles tendonitis. Don't know if it is related to Fibro tho. Lots of heel pain. It radiates up the back of my left leg to the knee. I also have bone spurs in the left foot. Maybe you need to see a podiatrist?

Hey Hippie, have you gotten your stimulus check yet? How is the situation at home?

Heel pain could be from lots of things. If it is really bugging you all the time, take the suggestion of having a podiatrist check out those feet. Seems like most of us have some type of foot problem...weird. Take care and catch us up on your news when you get a chance. Hugs, Marcia

I sometimes get this too hippie....it's usually after I've been on my feet for an extended period of time. For me the pain is on the bottom of my feet in the heel region....not near the achilles. If I try to balance on the balls of my feet to compensate....that part starts to throb also. I usually feel just fine the next day and it only happens once in awhile.

Oh I used to get it so bad by the end of my shift, I would be in tears. I was referred to a Podiatrist, by my family Dr. years ago!! I had x-rays done. I have spurs on both heels, also a very high instep (arch). He made me inlays (orthodics) I wear them daily now, with very little discomfort. The only drawback is that I have to wear my shoes all the time now!

Get your feel checked out, there could be something that you can do! hippie, take care of YOU!!! and your feet!!!LOL

I have had this with both of my heels and with X-rays I found the same thing that makkadawn said "high spurs" and boy can they hurt. When I would try to walk it felt like I was stepping down on a knife and it was then twisting into my heel. I haven't been bothered with it in years and never did have surgery.

Get yourself a Good pair of walking shoes, too! Maybe when you get your tax check? I swear by New Balance. They have sales, and will send you a postcard when!!!! That's the only time I can afford them. I wear 621. You will have to be fitted with that extra bone and all!!!! Good luck!
