Darn, now I have to go dig up that stuff from Psych 101 about having to see ourselves in someone else's eyes in order to believe we exist.
And yes, validation. A necessity. Even for those independent cusses among us who will swear they don't need anybody. It's not true. We all need it to be mentally healthy. Are you going to force me to dig out my sources on this?

Funny I was just thinking this...
Yes we all need some form of validation to feel like we are on the right path in life...be it with money or with spirituality etc...haircut even!
We all seek advice and sometimes it's just to see if we are right...
Why a need to be right? Socially set standard I suppose....
But if I was a hermit, I'd always be right. If someone moved in with me, I'd have to differ with them about how they build the fire, because I had been doing it my way for so long....so, could be our nature.
